Cody Earth Solutions was founded on a simple but powerful realization: the transition to renewable energy shouldn’t just benefit those who can afford the latest technology—it should be a tide that lifts all boats.
Our Roots
Since 2021, we have operated at the intersection of engineering and ethics. Based in the UK, we recognized that as the solar industry matured, it faced a growing contradiction. To keep up with efficiency demands, UK solar farms were “repowering”—discarding functional panels to make room for newer models. We saw this not as a waste problem, but as an opportunity for global empowerment.
The Circular Journey
Our no profit work is built on the “Second Life” principle. While a ten-year-old panel might no longer maximise UK Land use and the hyper-efficient requirements of a UK commercial grid, it has real value in West Africa. The high solar irradiance along the Senegal River means these panels can provide useful electricity, providing a clean, free source of energy where it is needed most.
Local Expertise, Global Impact
We don’t just ship hardware; we build systems.
- In the UK: We provide turn-key solar solutions for car parks, driveways, and large yards.
- In West Africa: We reinvest our UK success into the Senegal River Valley. By replacing expensive, polluting diesel pumps with solar-powered irrigation, we are helping farming communities in Mauritania and Senegal achieve food security and economic independence.
